‘lapwing’ is a UNIQUE seasonal retreat with an extra bed for children making it an ideal holiday for a small family.

Enjoy watching the sun set over our beautiful surroundings and then cosy up by the firepit and toast some marshmallows in the evening. Listen out for the owls hooting. Inside, Lapwing is a spacious yurt next to a well equipped house in the woods with a kitchen & dining area. A perfect base to explore the many walks, cycles, boat trips, beaches, towns and much more that Suffolk has to offer.

We’d love to thank Andrea and James for our lovely stay. We was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint! We stayed In the Shepard's hut and it was so homely and just what we needed after a busy year! We loved the fire and how cosy and warm it got! Our Bertie loved the outdoors and playing fetch on the grass

I cannot recommend this property enough for a relaxing break away.I stayed here with my husband and 2 small dogs and it was perfect.Lots of green space for the dogs to run around safely, and a lovely private outdoor space to dine or relax outdoors.Inside was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed.It is in a great location between Southwold and Aldeburgh both of which we wanted to be close to. This is my second visit and we will be back!!
