‘Kingfisher’ is a gorgeous seasonal retreat with an extra bed for children making it an ideal holiday for a small family.

Enjoy watching the sun set over our beautiful surroundings and then cosy up by the firepit and toast some marshmallows in the evening. Listen out for the owls hooting. Inside, Kingfisher is cosy and well equipped, with far reaching views out of your windows. A perfect base to explore the many walks, cycles, boat trips, beaches, towns and much more that Suffolk has to offer.

Andrea and the gorgeous shepherds huts exceeded the pictures and expectations. There were six of us and a dog and we all had such a fab time. The field is secluded and beautiful with a very well equipped set of huts and outdoor kitchen. We cooked on the fire and loved it. Each of the huts are set close enough together for socialising but far enough apart for privacy. The location is perfect for getting to the stunning coastline too. Thanks Andrea!

Very peaceful, beautiful & wonderful place to be - sat in nature around a large fire pit with wood storage & shared cooking tools & equipment, each pod given their own space & large gathering areas for large parties or for people to meet. When we were there it was just me and the dogs - spending our night around a blazing fire under the stars, and spending our days welcomed by kind people on beaches & in villages. I got some lovely pictures from the deep sunset u get in the evenings - best with the edge of the pod / campfire.

Quiet, relaxed site with only 3 well positioned huts. Comfy bed, handy little fridge, microwave and kettle. Internet connection was good. No roosters to wake you up at the crack of dawn. The shared kitchen and toilets were easily accessible and there was no smells coming from the dry toilets. Free wood available for the fire pit. Hammock was a nice touch. There are motion sensor and solar lights dotted around. Location is great if you want escapism or days out. good size co-op is only minutes away in Halesworth. The steps to get in and out of the hut are a bit steep, especially when going down at night.em

We loved our stay at the Bunkers Hill Farm, the hosts were very welcoming, and the shepherd huts were fantastic. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were also very comfy - much needed after a long day of walking.

Your Shepherds hut has a small kitchen, but if you’re up for a more outdoorsy experience you’ll love the outdoor kitchen, perfectly equipped for fun cooking experience.

TOILETS & SHOWERS

Composting toilets are located within the Shepherd Hut area, but for those that prefer something a little more like home, toilets and showers can be found in the loft, a very short walk away.
